Just Said Yes November 2020

What is your guest list looking like?

My fiancé and I are getting married this November. Like everyone else, we are on pins and needles trying to determine what to do due to the pandemic. I live in a southern state that has yet to hit a curve or peak. We are seriously facing another lock down which in all honesty, based on the cases, I fully support. Be that as it may, our wedding is 4 months away so I’m still kinda planning. Initially, we had a guest list of about 65 (including the wedding party) but I have chopped that down to about 40. My future hubby still thinks that’s too many people and doesn’t want our wedding to get shut down. I really want to include my family and close friends so I’m so confused on what to do. Do you guys find it super hard to remove people from your guest list? How many people are you inviting?

We had 10 people at our small ceremony/mini “reception” (dinner at our house after) this summer. We’re doing the big celebration next summer and depending on how things look, I should be able to cut it down to around 50 if absolutely needed. My mother won’t be happy, but it is what it is unfortunately!

I'm a February bride, and we have 57 guests including 3 vendors for head count. If I really wanted to, I could remove 18 to 24 people immediately, but I'm hoping we don't need to have that conversation. Ohio has areas with issues of numbers spiking, and one of those is the county where our ceremony is scheduled, but with 7 plus months to go, I'm staying hopeful.

We are a July 2020 couple that postponed to Feb 2021. Original list was 160. At this point it’s 66. We can cut it down to 50ish if needed.

Our wedding is in February and our current list is around 150. I'm going in with a leap of faith that things will be less crazy. If not, I won't hold it against anyone who doesn't want to show up. I do have a few elderly family members so I would totally understand if they decide not to come. At least no one can say I wasn't thinking of them.

I’m actually getting married in a few weeks. We invited over 100+ and there are over 70+ coming. We have now had to move everything outside, which we got lucky because my church has acreage to be able to have everything outside. So now we are having an outdoor wedding and reception.

Guest list is at 150 but my venue at social distancing can hold 130. I want to cut it down from 80-100. 80% would be family.
