Mine is when we went To Universal Studios. We love Harry Potter so we had a blast in the Wizarding World.

Mine is probably our trip to Niagara Falls. Neither of us had ever been and we just had such a blast enjoying each other and we were very disconnected with phones/social media while there, so it was just us in our time. It was so much fun and such quality time spent together, I never ever wanted it to end.

Mine is when we were in downtown Chicago going to his friend’s show. We got lost and couldn’t find the venue. It was freezing cold outside and we decided to forget the show and walk around the city. It was just a fun, spontaneous night.

I’ve got so many to choose from but mine is our first date. We met online and I met him at a restaurant just in case. I was so excited about meeting him as I was hoping he’d be as cool as he seemed. He was so handsome, and so sweet. We talked and talked. Then we went to a bar for a cocktail. We came back to my house and I invited this stranger into my home. And we talked more. He finally fell asleep in my recliner. Then we enjoyed part of the next day together. I didn’t want him to ever leave. Our first date lasted more than 24 hours. He's still the sweet, sexy, handsome man 4 1/2 years later.

Mine is when we went to Italy a few years ago. I wish we could go back for our honeymoon but it’s too expensive with paying for the wedding.

This was maybe only one or two months of dating. I had a bad headache but still wanted to go out in a Saturday night. He was like nope I want you to feel better, and besides you’re precious to me so I don’t want anything happening to you. And that moment has always stuck with me because I guess at that instant I could feel how real what we had was.

One of the sweetest memories I have of him is when we first started dating and my lower back had decided to go out on me....so much so that it hurt to even stand up straight. He surprised me by just showing up at my door with a pint of ice cream and laid in the bed with me for hours talking.

We've done a lot of travel while we've been together, but probably my favorite travel memory was this past summer when we went to the beach. We were already engaged and wanted to take a quick getaway before I started back to school. I'm a middle school teacher. Usually when we go on vacation, we always eat out somewhere. Well there was this place right by our condo that sold boiled shrimp. We got a couple pounds and took it back to the condo. He lit a candle and we sat on the patio listening to the waves with shrimp and a glass of wine 😊

So many - we did just go to Disney and Universal, and that was amazing.

But, honestly? A few years ago I had pneumonia. Like, bad enough I was in the hospital on IV antibiotics for 5 days. At the time, DH was working his day job (barista, so early, early, EARLY hours), sportswriting about Italian/European soccer at the very end of an exciting season, AND acting in a play for a major festival in NYC.

The hospital I was in was not only NOT in NYC, it wasn't exactly reachable by public transport. And, yet, he was there Every. Single. Day. The only day he didn't come? Was the day I got out, because he had work and a show that day and could not physically make it. So, he came to my place after his show, to make sure I was ok. He was falling over, exhausted, but he still got me to eat, sat outside the shower to help me if I needed it, and bundled me into bed.
He then proceeded to come over nearly every day (as long as his schedule could be hammered into submission), take my laundry to the laundromat, do my grocery shopping, and keep me from getting cabin fever.

I hadn't had any doubts at that point, but that's when I truly realized what an amazing man I was with... and when my dad was *really* sold on him.

There are so many and summers have been particularly special because we are both teachers.

But i remember when he met my family. I’d allowed my family to meet a couple of exes but they’d never really taken to them...they’d been polite of course but never built any type of relationship with them, so I didn’t have many expectations. After FH and i spent a day at a football game with them, they texted me before we could get home “We REALLY like him!!!! He is so great!” Family is important to me and so this was significant. I knew then how special he was.

Oh gosh I don’t know if I can pick! I have loved every trip we’ve taken from each of us showing new states to one another, to amusement parks and beaches. But I think the one that stands out the most was our pre moon. We went away for 10 days which was the longest time we’ve ever taken off work. We traveled all over NC and got to relax at the beach and explore OBX together for the first time and that’s when we finalized our wedding details.

He was my best friend for a long time before we dated but we lived about six hours away. The first time I visited him at his house I went for a few days. We went to a fun farm historical museum that had a functional general store where you could by old timely candy. We walked in and I really liked it and kept looking at the candy cuz it looked yummy, so when we were about to leave he turned us around and asked if I wanted lemon drops and gum drops. It was so simple but so incredibly sweet and innocent. I still have the bag the candies came in.

Thank you! Definitely more than we wanted to spend but it’s all inclusive so was worth it in the end. We did that in October, had a lot of things discussed and finalized. Still don’t have our license 🥴 our officiant says he’ll do that?? But pretty much! Just need to go over music and finalize time line.

Where to begin? I would guess, when my FH and I were first dating he came along on a family trip with my family and I to a national park and that was so much fun. He interacted well with my family and kept me company while my sister was having problems of her own and didn't interact with me as much. I don't know why this particular trip stands out to me. we've been on plenty of trips after this but I think it's the first one we went on together and it was nice.

These are some beautiful love stories being shared here!! I too have many, wonderful fun and romantic times in memory but the one that is the most special to me was just this past September when my love proposed to me on bended knee on his birthday. I had gone to San Diego to visit (long distance relationship - I’m from there and had to move for a sick parent). At the airport when it was time for me to go, he said “ I’m so sad to see you go, but really happy you’re leaving with my ring on your finger.” I swooned. 😍 I’m marrying this wonderful gent on March 28th
