What is the difference between a ring bearer and page boys

Ashley , on June 9, 2017 at 10:45 AM Posted in Planning 1 3

Can I just have a page or a ring bearer of it doesn't make any difference between the two?

There is no difference. It's just another name for a ring bearer.

My DH is British, over there their "page boy" was the same as what we call a ring bearer in the US. I think a page boy traditionally carried the bride's train but I have not heard of that being done in a long time, I think any young boy who is in the wedding party can be called a page boy.

By definition a page boy is a young male wedding attendant. Ring bearers, especially in modern weddings, can be boys or girls. Best wishes!
