What is the best approach to destination wedding invites and separate party

We are planning a destination wedding. We are stuck on if we invite our whole guest list and give them the option of attending at the destination location, or just sending to those we know will attend the destination place and sending a separate invitation to the whole guest list announcing we got married in a small private ceremony and we would love to celebrate with friends and family at a separate time.

It's easier to design a wedding with a definitive guest list number. It helps you pick an appropriate venue space, budget food per person, budget for decor, etc. So with your partner, decide if you want a bigger or smaller destination wedding. Just a word of caution, many WW couples tend to skip the second more local party in favor of saving money for other parts of their marriage. Be honest with your guestlist and funds, and make no apologies getting the wedding you want. Best wishes.
