What is the age range for a Jr. Bride

His Butterfly, on June 9, 2013 at 7:51 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

My grand daughter is four...Is she too young to be a Jr. Bride? She is very smart and not a shy bone in her body Smiley smile She may steal the show but that is ok with me!!!

That seems like flower girl territory to me. I've seen no younger than 8 years old.

My jr. Bridesmaids are 9 and 10 and my flowergirl is 5. I think it is up to you, and if it is important for you that she is standing up there for the ceremony then let her be a jr. Bridesmaid.

Do you have another flowergirl? If you don't want her throwing petals she could carry a pomander.

A mini bride or a junior bridesmaid? I don't get the mini bride thing but I've heard of it.

She is the perfect age to be a flowergirl. Jr bridesmaids age generally start at 11

My youngest bridesmaid is one of my nieces and she'll be 12 at our wedding in October - I wouldn't go any younger than that though. The two other little girls in the wedding are my 8 year old niece and his 6 year old cousin and they'll be a sign bearer and a flowergirl, respectively. Smiley winking
