I got my husband Away luggage for Christmas. He has no idea. We travel a lot so I knew it would be a good investment even though it is pricey. I can't wait to see the look on his face.

I'm spending Christmas eve at his ex family's house so that he can be around his twin daughters for the holidays. I feel so awkward going but he wants me there.

Last Christmas for sure. We drove 8 hours to his sister's house. I woke up the morning we were leaving with an awful cold and coughing a ton. Finally we get there, mind you I am already on allergy medication because I am allergic to real Christmas trees so this ought to be fun. I thought we can just relax and chill because I feel like crap. Nope they take us to this weird house in their town that has 70's decor; while cool I just wanted to lay down. But we were told to go and to meet people that I don't even care about or want to know. Finally we get back and I take a shower, my skin is also sensitive mind you, and I find out they have very hard water that drys my skin out making my allergies worse. The next my FFIL arrives, thank God another sane person besides myself and FH! The rest of the holiday was spent touring their town where they don't have cheese curds on the menu; which for me is not a good thing being from Wisconsin. My FSIL and family also took us to another friend's home that had like 5 cats, which I am also allergic to (Does anyone else think she was trying to kill me, because by then I did?). All in all Christmas itself wasn't awful, but between cold medication and a ton of allergy medication I'm so looking forward to this year spending Christmas with my family in an allergy free home.

I am missing Christmas, yet again, with MY mom and 21yo son- to spend it with FH, his two adult kids( yes the hateful 23yo stepdaughter!) his mom/stepdad and siblings.
It is hard when he won’t go and see MY family for the holidays- and they won’t come down for them( due to his daughter and mother).....

He's a plumber and was supposed to be off for Christmas, but they are making him so we can't spend Christmas with his kids and grandkids. He's upset so i'm making him pot pies right now for dinner, and I'm giving him one of his Christmas gifts early, a heated back massager chair paid

My FH's parents are going to Texas (from Colorado) to visit their grandson. We are watching their two labs the whole week of Christmas, which we couldn't be happier about since we have a 7 month old Great Dane puppy that LOVES them! Smiley heart Giving up a trip to visit my parents in South Korea (Air Force) in order to help my FH with 3 dogs that week.

I got a 2nd job so that we can live a little bit more comfortably. Although, my boss at my full time job today told me he could guarantee at least 10 hours of overtime, so I could earn in 1 day, what I make in 3 at my other job Smiley smile

I also now live with a dog because I love my FH that much. (I'm a cat person)

I spend a lot of time with his parents lol, although I just found out that my FMIL loves me Smiley love

First of all, have fun at Star Wars. My wonderful FH has actually gotten me INTO Star Wars, something I never thought I'd live to say. Sooo looking forward to seeing it this weekend. Smiley heart

For my sweet man, I am wrapping all of his gifts to his family and friends, because he hates wrapping and (probably) isn't very good at it. I have yet to see it, but I am happy to wrap for him since I absolutely love it.

I am also giving him the 2 weekends before and after Christmas to spend with the 3 sides of his family we need to visit. Henceforth, putting my family off by 3 weeks. Hopefully everyone understands.

Spent a LOT of money on Shutterfly for our album, a portrait for us, and picture gifts for our parents.

Day to day stuff has been making sure the humidifier is on when he goes to sleep, and little things like that.

Sometimes I feel he's much better at that stuff than I am.

FH has been making something for my gift (he's surprisingly crafty) and has been literally slaving away at it for HOURS in our cold garage so I won't see it. He keeps telling me that I shouldn't spend a lot of money on him bc my gift didn't cost much. It may not have cost a lot of money but it's cost him a LOT of work, cold hours, and a lot of love has gone into it. I can't wait to see!

I am missing Christmas with my family for the first time to go home with him for the holidays. He did the same thing for me at thanksgiving.

I’m driving 4 1/2 hours tonight, in the dark and rain, so that he can have a little extra time with his family. ❤️
