What goes w/my bridal processional song?

Sara, on June 19, 2012 at 4:23 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 11

I can not decide what the bridal party should walk down the aisle too... I'm fully stumpped. I want to walk down to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," the ukulele version by Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole. But WHAT the eff goes w/the tempo and feel of that song for my BP to walk down to? I'm at a loss.... should I just have them walk to that too? That seems weird to me though too.. ugh. Stuck.

here's a link to the song:

What about I'm yours by Jason Mraz? It's got a ukulele in it too and it's a really upbeat happy song x

Thx for the suggestion, but I just can not stand jason mraz. Sorry, but he makes me cringe, he reminds me of john mayer who I can not stand either. Plus- though I'm a music snob, my FH is 10x worse- he's a musician and hates prectically ALL popular music. So that makes it even harder to find a song, that 1- I like, 2- that he'll like and, 3- that "fits" in w/the other song. Smiley sad grumble

That is what my bridal party is walking in to!! It's such a great song!! My dad & I are going to walk in to "Grow Old With You" by Adam sandler. Totally not traditional but I love it & it's only a minute & 30 sec long.

Look on You Tube for other Ukalele songs. I know Izzy also does "What a Wonderful World". It's very pretty!

I'm thinking of walking down to the instrumental version of turning page by sleeping at last

I second Sweet Pea by Amos Lee. Or if you/FH wants something unknown, try googling ukulele artists and then listening to samples on youtube or iTunes to find something you like.

I'm using a song called Bloom by the Paper Kites. This song makes me so happy. And the lyrics "can I be close to you"..perfect.

I don't even care. I did for a second but now as long as we know what it is the day before and as long as my friend plays it on piano... ya Im no help but I think most things on piano sound nice.
