What gifts do bridesmaids really want?

I'm deciding now on what to get my bridesmaids for their gifts. They've been great throughout all of this. I want to show gratitude towards them. What are you guys getting them?

It depends on how many BMs you're having. I'm having only 3 or 4, so they'll be getting more elaborate gifts. If you have more, just for financial reasons, it makes sense to give them less. I'd also avoid the "bridesmaid," "bride tribe," "fling before the ring," etc. stuff. I've also seen it said that considering the dress, hair/makeup, robes/pjs, anything else you're buying for them to wear specifically for your wedding / preceding events aren't considered gifts. If it's for your wedding, it's just you furnishing things you want them to have for the wedding, not really a gift. But not everyone follows that.

Since you got robes, maybe stick with a spa theme and make a little kit with face mask, nail polish, bath salt, etc. for some post-wedding relaxation?

Ill say something unique that matches them. Like if you have a bridesmaid who love Starbucks maybe a Starbucks goft card. So i would give them something unique and then give them all the standard gift you pick. I just think gift cards are amazing

All of my bridesmaids are at the age that we want financial freedom, so I purchased Stockpile gift cards as part of their bridal proposal boxes, and it was a HUGE hit!!! They still talk about how they love that I was thinking about their future. They are even using the idea to give to others now.

I'm getting sunflower wine glasses, which most if not all of them already know about. I'm also stitching nicknames I have for them onto fabric that's gonna be used to wrap their bouquets. The bouquets are all made with fake flowers so they'll be able to keep them intact. What gifts do bridesmaids really want? 1

Those glasses are adorable! Where did you find them? They don't have to be strictly for wine either.

You can find tons on Etsy. I have a woman that works a craft tent at a local fair painting mine. Smiley smile I picked really big balloon wine glasses, but I've seen champagne, beer, and smaller wine glasses used as well. No matter the glass, though, you're definitely right that you wouldn't have to use it for strictly wine. I don't even like wine so I definitely wouldn't haha.

DH and I treated our gifts like they were birthday or holiday gifts, not necessarily wedding related.

Get them something personal, that they'd like and want. Like you were out shopping and saw something and said to yourself, "This is perfect for MOH's daily cup of tea" or whatever.

I got my girls tumblers, hangers, and ring dishes with their names or initials. I will also get them a robe, and maybe a gift card or a special item that fits their personality. The tumblers, robes, hangers are more for pictures so I don't consider those as gifts for them. I am also paying for their hair.

When I was a BM, I received a robe and a pair of earrings to wear for the wedding. Although I like the robe, but not the earrings. I haven't worn both at all. It's been sitting in my closet for 2 years now.

Get them something you know they will like. For example, my BMs like dogs, cats, photography so I am thinking of getting one with a cat keychain, a dog pin, camera necklace, beauty item, a gift card.

I've gotten my 'Maid's many random things for the events leading up to and at the wedding. Most of them can be reused again but I did have date/title on a couple things for fun photo opportunities. The only items with name/date/title (in that combo, nothing has the date except for my Man of Honor socks), are socks and metallic water bottles. The other things I got for them are either neutral (just their name or initial's or plain) I did make one major purchase for the girls since we postponed from summer to winter. I had shawl's made with their initial's on them to use on wedding day but they can be used all winter long as well. Honestly, I think anything you get your party will make them feel special and appreciated. I am able to buy a lot more than I had planned on due to postponing an additional 6 months.

I bought mine jewelry to wear on the wedding day (very simple gold jewelry) off of Etsy. I also made them all wine glasses with their names to use the morning we're getting ready- and during the reception if they choose. And I was thinking of making little cosmetic bags with some treats and some items they may need during the reception.

I like the idea of paying for hair/make-up but I decided against it. I've been in several weddings and always paid for my own hair/make-up. I also talked to a number of family members/friends who are married and they all said they didn't pay for their bridal party either.

I don't think most bridesmaids actually want anything that says anything about weddings or bridesmaid on it. I bought a necklace with celtic knots (match my theme) and a mystic fire topaz in them. My whole wedding party is also getting a stainless steel stemless wine glass with a laser cut celtic knot heart on it.

The guys are getting daggers with their names engraved in them.
