What gifts did y’all give y'all's bridesmaids and groomsmen?

Caitlyn, on September 8, 2019 at 11:10 AM Posted in Planning 0 6
I am having trouble figuring out what to give my bridesmaids and my fiancé is having trouble figuring out what to give to his groomsmen. My bridesmaids consist of my sisters and future sister in law and a family friend. All of them are under the age of twenty one. The oldest is 20 and the youngest is 13. His groomsmen range from the ages of 21-13 also. His cousins are standing with him and my brother. His best man is the only one of age which he is 21. We are buying the guys ties since I want specific colors for each guy. The girls I’m thinking of getting them all matching bracelets but not sure. If y’all could me some ideas that would be great!

Shop like you would for their birthday. Get things personalized to their hobbies and interests. A gift card to their favorite store or restaurant, a mani/pedi gift card, something they collect...

I got necklaces for my bridesmaids. I got a cute flower necklace for the flower girl as well. FH still doesn’t know what he’s doing for his groomsmen, and our wedding is next month 🤦🏻‍♀️

We made mugs on Shutterfly with 4-5 images of ourselves and the bridesmaid or groomsman together at events. That way, the gifts were personal and sentimental. We added a $15-$20 giftcard in the mugs. They were a big hit with my bridesmaids as a thank for for the bridal shower and the men will get their mugs at the rehearsal dinner.

I did kind of a mix of personalized and all the same gifts. I had a tote bag for each bridesmaid with their name on it and inside was a robe (a plain one, not embroidered with bridesmaid or anything like that), a different book for each of them based on their likes/personalities, a wine glass tumbler, and a bag of candy.

I got my girls earrings and a bracelet, a B&BW candle and I will get something else. I think candles, lotions, spa kits, coffee mugs with a coffee or tea kit are always cute! Giftcards, although I think giftcards are a lazy route. I am considering doing a framed picture of myself with each bridesmaid and a heartfelt note. Handwritten notes go a long way and are sentimental.

    This is what we did...

    Bridesmaids:

Proposal Gift - Jewelry box, liquor shooters, nail polish & hair ties that said "to have and to hold your hair back".

Bach Party Favor - Hangover kit, wine tumbler, paid for dinner the first night & a round of drinks each night & groceries.

Wedding Day - Tote, water bottle, cute socks, letter from me, and a getting ready outfit (I gave each girl 3 options and they picked what they would like). I paid for HAMU, transportation, breakfast & lunch, and a chair masseuse.

    Groomsmen:

Proposal Gift - Personalized coke bottle & whiskey bottle.

Bach Party Favor - Hangover kit & koozie.

Wedding Day - Etched monogrammed whiskey glass, tie, socks, pocket square, cigar, multi-use pocket tool.
