I have family and friends coming from afar and i don't want them to drive so far for a 20 minute ceremony. What else can we do to make our ceremony longer

Also lining up 12 people on both sides and any kids (depending on their age and if they stall walking down the isle) that may add time onto your ceremony too.

Hey! What about a Praise Dancer? I love those at Weddings!

That could add some time and spice to the ceremony!

Monarchmom - I love your idea about having each of the guests bless the rings - it gave me goosebumps! When My husband and I got married we tied the knot for real. We had a cord with tassels on each end and after the unity candle ceremony, together, we tied the cord in a square knot so that we ended up with a loop a knot and hanging tassels. It won't add much time to the ceremony but our guests got a kick out of it and I keep it draped over the corner of one of our wedding photos.
