What Dresses Did You Try, And Not End Up Buying??

I was looking for off the shoulder dresses this one was from an Orlando bridal shop. I did not like it. Everyone was so helpful but I didn't find what I wanted in my budget. Returned to David's Bridal thinking I would buy the dress I originally liked but, decided the quality was not great. Ended up with a great dress in my budget from Ivy Bridal in Altamonte Springs.

I tried on at least 50 dresses. I went to 4 shops a and I actually found my dress when my sister was getting her wedding dress altered. I scheduled an appointment behind her back (huge bridezilla didn’t even want me looking until after she was married) with my other sister because this shop will only sell 1 dress of it kind. I put the deposit down and came back after her wedding with her my dad and my mom, but I told my dad beforehand. I bought it almost 16 months out from my wedding but I haven’t found a dress that even compares.

So many beautiful dresses!!! Wedding dress shopping is so fun as there's so many different things to choose from. Here's 2 dresses I tried on that I didn't get. The big satin ballgown (that obviously doesn't fit me) was so pretty! But it felt like I had seen it a lot of places and didn't feel like me. The lace dress was pretty and everyone wanted me to get that one, or one similar, but that's not what I had in mind.

I didnt do a lot of trying because when I went into David's Bridal, they had absolutely nothing like what I wanted (clean v-neck with straight lines and princess seams, a back high enough for a bra and sleeves). I went online and got my dress and am having sleeves put on it but I had this dress saved in my search history for a good month before finding the dress I actually bought.

I tried on so many mermaid, fit and flare, trumpet style dresses. To show a few:
