What Dress Should My Mother In Law Wear?

I'm going shopping with my mom and FMIL this weekend because they've insisted I help them. The only thing I've requested is that they don't buy a prom dress and it's not in wine (the BM color) or green. I don't want it to look like Christmas, if that makes sense.

Go with her! It's a fun day you can have with your mom. But if she finds something she loves, let her get it.

I've asked my mum and MIL to align their colors to the wedding colors because I want them to feel as cohesive as possible, however on saying that I also said that anything they feel comfortable in is perfect!

My FMIL asks me what she should wear and I continuously tell her...whatever she would be comfortable in!
