What do you think of Krispy Kreme Donuts as Favors?

Donuts! I'd probably eat them at the reception... along with all the other cake and desserts, which would be followed by a major sugar crash. But I'd regret nothing.

I went to a wedding 2 years ago that had hot krispy kreme donuts delivered as a late night snack. It was the best part about the wedding!

We have the local famous "Paula's Donuts" and I've heard of quite a few couples using them as wedding favors. One even got custom boxes that had their faces drawn on them. Sounds weird, was super cute!

I like the donut idea, but not loving the Krispy Kreme idea. they are my least favorite donut.

Dunkin Donuts however, I'd definitely be in line for some of those

I love Krispy Kreme so absolutely yes!

My sister did exactly this for the wedding. His favorite flavor and her favorite flavor. From Krispy creme. I remember boxing them up in the little boxes. They didn't do that part for you they came in boxes of 12 so you had to build the little boxes which we did the night before the wedding.

They ended up with ALOT of extras. I would say maybe 20% of the guests took them?

Edible favors are always ideal for me and I do LOVE krispy kreme...it can be an unnecessary expense IMO if you have tons left over.....but as long as you have a guest like GymRat (and me) to take all the extras you should be fine LOL

Yep, it's fine. You do know that dinner, drinks, and entertainment are enough, right? If you want to do favors -- which are unnecessary -- KK donuts are a hell of lot better than a lot of the silly favors that guests leave behind. In fact, I don't think your donuts will make it home before your guests scarf them down on the ride home. Actually, it's a good idea.

If you love it, go for it. I consider donuts as breakfast foods (we do in my area), so if I see donuts at night, I usually pass right by them.
