What do people write in the guest book?

What do you mean titles?

At the top of the page maybe adding "leave us a note", "advice", or "best wishes" something along those lines. Some people said the guest book is for guests to put their names and addresses in for the thank you letters.

Well you should have addresses already from the invites right? I think "leave us a note" or something of the kind is fine.

We are using a canvas print that has our date on it and people are just signing and leaving best wishes. Maybe that's what the guest book used to be for, but I think in this age you have all their addresses if you sent them invites.

If you are still doing a book, I would probably just put a little sign like "Advice for a happy marriage" or something next to it.

A traditional guest book is names & addresses. presumably, if you sent invites you already have everyones address.

I have seen different things incorporating "advice", etc. I wouldnt put headings like that in a book, though, unless you are doing tabs or something. people will probably just write on whichever page is open.

A friends had -advice, names for their kids, your favorite memory with bride/groom to share with future kids. I thought it was interesting

We had a puzzle made of one of our engagement photos, and are having people sign that. I feel like I usually just write: "Congrats!" or "We love you!" or something. I don't know that I've seen aguest book for a wedding that asked me to write something special. That might be a nice keepsake! I have only seen that kind of stuff at a shower.
