What do i wear for undergarments under my dress?

When I worked in bridal, we would always sew push up bra cups into the gowns for support during alterations so a bra wasn’t necessary. I’ve worn dresses with them, and they’re awesome! Highly recommend

That's an approach I hadn't heard of, but it's very clever! We had basically these ( https://www.yourdreamdress.com/product/gel-bra-cups-push-up-sew-in-black-nude-white/ ) in nude in cup sizes A through DD in bulk in our back room.

My dress had bra cups in it. As for bottoms, my dress' skirt was a simple chiffon A-line and I didn't want to risk any noticeable panty lines. Therefore I wore seamless, nude panties with a slightly wider waist band. Not quite granny panties tall, but enough to cover my hip-dips and didn't squeeze anywhere to create any lumps. I probably could've gotten away with a thong, but I've never found them comfortable.


Not exactly the most bridal underwear, but you can also change into something cuter after the wedding. During the wedding, it's function over cuteness lol

I'm larger chested and my dress would not support me on it's own, so I wore a bustier and a thong.

My dress has cups in them but I can’t tell how good they are because I need the top altered a bit. I hadn’t thought about undies yet but I do need to explore spanx or something like that maybe.

Cups were also sewn into my dress. Firstly, it is very convenient and secondly, you are not afraid that somewhere in the photo will look like your bra

My dress doesn't require any shapewear so I bought some white lace boy shorts (not a thong girl). They are cute and comfy. No bra needed with my dress, tight enough to hold everything in place lol.

Honestly I was just going to wear a nude thong with mine. My dress has built in bust support (that was an absolutely must for me) and I don't want to spend a lot of money on underwear I can't wear with everything 😅
