What did you/are you planning to write your vows on?

I'm 38 days out and suddenly my head is swirling with details--primarily nuisance ones I'd rather not think about. BUT I saw these vow journals on BHLDN that made me think it might be good to read off of something other than a sheet of paper. I saw some website that showed framed hand-written vows that were read from during the ceremony and displayed during the reception, which sounds kind of cute. What did you read yours from or what are you planning to do? Anything special?

I was thinking to use my phone so that it's something compact. But that is a good question. Something more elegant might be nice.

Haha, I like that! That is where I have them written so far. Just don't want to look like I'm texting during my own wedding

I pretty much just typed them up and printed them double-sided (vows on the other side) on leftover card stock that we got to make the place cards.

I love those books. Our officiant will have ours in her book but I love those his and her books so cute.

I'm not getting a special journal. We aren't reading our vows out loud to the crowd at the wedding. Instead we will be either be whispering them to each other during the exchange or reading them to a camera and watching them later on our honeymoon. I'll either memorize them or read them off a good old fashioned price of paper! I do love the idea of framing them but I'll probably do that later and keep them at home with our wedding album and other sentimental stuff.
