What did you do with your wedding dress?

I have yet to get a dress, nor have my wedding, BUT I plan on keeping it, and wearing it on our anniversaries, and eventually having some pictures of my babies with it!

I am having it preserved. I am super sentimental so I want it to be preserved and possibly used for a baptism dress for my children. My mom did that and it was super special to me.

Mine is currently folded up in a closet. One bride on here suggested having it made into angel gowns and I just loved that idea so much. The places near me that take them have waiting lists for donations though so I'm just waiting for one to open up so that I can donate it.

I will be preserving mine and eventually having some pictures of our babies with it (especially if we have any girls!) I would also love to have something made out of it eventually if we did have any daughters.

I had mine preserved through my salon. They offered a discount, and I knew I wanted to keep it, so it was a no brainer. Whether someone in the future decides to wear it or not, it's something I wanted to keep with me. Ideally I would LOVE to pass it down to a daughter, niece, etc.

I plan to see how many of my friends (who will all be married by the time I get married, minus one who is getting married in June) wanted to do a fun little photo shoot in our dresses. Not a trash the dress, just doing funny poses and being silly.

After that, I had planned to just sell my dress, but FH seems to think I need to keep it. So not sure yet, I'd like to sell it considering I don't see any other relatives wanting in the future. We also only plan to have 0-1 kid, and I'm sure they'll want their own dress if it's a girl.

FH and I will probably discuss it after the wedding. I just don't see any purpose in keeping it, I have the pictures and video. That's just my opinion on it.

Haven’t gotten married yet, but I plan to sell mine. I’m not having kids, and see no reason to keep it.
