    THURSDAY! We are planning a destination wedding. Here are the perks we feel we are gaining from a Thursday destination wedding date:

    1)Cheaper hotels for out of town guests

    2)Discounted venue f/b min

    3)Guests need to take work off anyway, so now with a Thursday wedding, they still have the weekend in New Orleans to party on their own time

    4)Flights are more reasonable than a Friday flight

    5)More available dates to choose from with vendors

    We like the date that we picked, Saturday, June 20th. It is the first day of summer, the daylight hours will be long, and hopefully the temperatures will be pleasant. You never know with Milwaukee.

    Sunday! The date we wanted happens to fall on a Sunday (thankfully not a weekday) so we didn't have much choice in the matter but we are having a small wedding to begin with so, I'm not at all worried about people not coming
