What day of the week are you getting married?

Saturday is the best day, and we're lucky that May 23 is a Saturday, because May 23 was the date that we first got together.

Sunday. We are getting married in Turks & Caicos and need to be there at least 48 hours in order to register for marriage license.

Friday evening! We got about a third off the venue price and most of our guests are from out-of-town (the wedding is in Colorado) and are making it part of their summer vacation plans so day of week was less important. The cost savings allowed us to pay for a wedding planner and my dress!

Sunday! We are getting married at Wrightsville Beach, NC and everyone is from out of town! So why not ask off a Monday rather than a Friday? Plus we saved thousands by booking on a Sunday. If someone doesn't want to come to our wedding because it is on a Sunday...then we don't need them there on our big day!
