What color tie for the Groom/Groomsmen?

I'm having trouble figuring out what color tie my FH and his groomsmen should wear with their navy suits to go with our color scheme and the bridesmaid dresses (Joanna August in Bohemian Rhapsody). Thoughts? Feel free to send links if you feel like online/window shopping for me

PS - we're buying the ties for all the groomsmen too, so shooting for something in the $20 - $40 range.

I would do that ocean color or a mix of both the ocean and plum, maybe every other groomsman?

First, I love your colors. How about dark red for groomsmen and the off-white ecru for groom? What color is your dress? White white, or off white?
My groom is doing the off white/ivory and groomsmen are doing dark blue like bridesmaid dresses. My dress is off white ivory and champagne.

I'd go with the plumb or oxblood color tie to match your maids more. Congrats and best wishes!

Try bows-n-ties.com. Our ties were inexpensive on there. We got one color for $10 and another color for $20

I bought our ties from cheap-neckties.com for $5 each and was quite impressed. You can search by colour or price. My FBIL is a tie fanatic and thought the quality was so amazing that we'd spent too much on them until he heard we only spent $5 a tie. Now he's obsessed with ordering from the site.

What color shirt are they wearing? That would be an important factor in choosing a tie.
If they wear a classic white shirt, they can wear almost any color tie. The one color I would stay away from is matching the BM dress. That can look very prom-ish.
Consider a striped shirt and a pin dot tie.

I don't like matching the ties to the BM dresses either. Most photos I've seen it looks tacky. I really wanted my FH in a soft pink tie, so he's got that and an ivory pocket square, white boutonneire. and the groomsmen will have ivory ties, ivory pocket squares with a pink boutonneire. They have light gray suits. Check out the Tie Bar and surprisingly Express had some nice solid tie colors about a month ago.

That plum looks good with the dress color, dunno how it will look with navy in the mix.
