What color for parents and grandparents

on January 15, 2019 at 4:37 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
My wedding colors are ivory, a type of hot pink, and champagne with added greenery. What colors should the grandparents and parents wear? I do plan to incorporate other shades of pink as well. Here’s a pick of the color

Think they would more than likely prefer the more subtle colors. But then again we all have one grandma that likes to have fun haha.

They should wear whatever they are comfortable in, they definitely do not at all have to match your wedding colors.

Older folks tend to prefer colors that will blend well with everything and show off their body in a positive way. Certain colors could wash them out, show off their insecurities, etc. Just like any other person i suppose.

I'd ask them what color they are comfortable in. Again, they don't have to match wedding colors. Taupe, silver, gold, darker colors, are generally what parents/grandparents lean towards.

Let them wear what makes them feel their best Smiley smile

Most parents/grandparents/honored guests will try (on their own) to at least coordinate with the wedding colors, but since they're not part of the bridal party, they don't have to match or even "go." You know? For example, our colors were turquoise, royal blue and purple. Both my mom and step mom ended up choosing navy blue dresses (coincidence!) and my mother in law wore an eggplant colored pantsuit.

They should wear whatever they want and feel comfortable in, they don't need to coordinate with anything. They're not decor.

Thanks for the responses. I was asking because I was asked what color they should wear. I’m not per say “making” them wear a certain color. I was actually asked and I was just like pink? Lol so I wanted opinions on colors.
