What color father of the bride should wear!

Ask FH what he thinks. If he doesn't care if your dad is in the same color tux you're set. If he does mind, I would go with the same gray as the GM. Gray on gray might be a little boring, can he wear a patterned yellow tie or a bow tie instead?

If we do the light gray suit with a yellow tie, he would match fiance exactly, which we do not want. If we do the dark gray with the yellow tie, he would look like a groomsman.

We're definitely sticking with the gray tie (light if the suit is dark and vice versa), which I personally think is nice. I definitely don't want him in a bow tie.

My dad (and DH's dad) wore the same gray tux and vest as the groomsmen but had regular ties that matched our moms' dresses. Groomsmen and DH had bowties, so the different tie type helped to make them a little separate too. I loved the way it looked, and our dads (and moms) weren't stressed over what to wear

My dad and FFIL will be wearing slate grey just like the GM but will be wearing a normal tie in silver instead of a printed bow tie like the GM.

The Father of The Bride, The Father of the Groom and all The Groomsmen should match. They should be in tuxes or formal attire. No brainer on this one.

My FH and groomsman will be wearing a medium grey. Our fathers will be in a slightly darker grey, with different ties

My FH and groomsman are wearing navy. I told my dad to get the same navy but he came back and said he got black *eyeroll* He's incredibly stubborn. It's not a battle I wanted to fight so I left it alone.

My dads in black and the groom/groomsmen will be in grey.

My FH and groomsmen are in light gray; my dad is also in light gray but his suit has a bit of plaid running through because he likes his suits to have 'interest'. He bought the suit so he can have whatever he wants - he could wear orange and I wouldn't care. My mom is wearing a floral dress/gown so he will match her.

My Dad is wearing the same exact tux as FH. I think they will both look awesome. I like that they will look the same.

@Nancy- oops! FOG is wearing a suit. FH and FOB are matching in black tuxes with bow ties and gm's are both in black tuxes but not the same one. They will be wearing long ties. We told everyone to get whatever tux/suit they want.

I don't think it matters all that much. My Dad and the GMs won't be in any pictures together. My Dad won't be in any pictures with FH Dad. I don't see why it matters that everyone match except

My dad is matching my mom. She's wearing a dark blue dress so he's wearing a navy blue tux.

My parents are divorced, but I'm sure that doesn't matter in this case. My mom is wearing a dark gray dress.
