What can I cover the floor with?

vballcoach, on August 27, 2009 at 7:47 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

My FI and I are planning on having our wedding reception in the barn on my farm, the only problem is it has a dirt floor and I want to cover it. We can't do hay because FI is allergic. I looked into doing deck tile but since the barn is so large it would be way too expensive. Any ideas?

Maybe you can just make an aisle out of the flooring and a dance floor. That shouldn't be tooexpensive. If you are already in a barn, the dirt floors won't look out of place, so why not keep them for the rest of the space?

Depending on the theme of the wedding simple plywood might work. then maybe something fancier if you have a dance floor. 3or 4 by 8 sheet of plywood less than $20 and you could resell on Craigs list.
