Hey ladies, im getting married Sunday
February 21,2021❤️ My wedding is a twilight wedding meaning it starts after 5:30. I am not set on my colors yet. This has been very difficult i want to stay away from burgundy because i don’t want anything to be similar to my engagement party. I want my wedding to be very elegant glam. I have fallen in love with like a slate blue, dusty blue feel it gives me that cloudy winter vibe. But my fiancé is very adamant about wearing all black i love the idea but i don’t know if it goes well with the blues. Please help! Here some pics for more of a vision.

Hi,

The dusty blue looks gorgeous. The black suits should look fine with dusty blue, if you offset the grooms suits with dark (azure) and dusty blue hues on their flower lapel.

It'll look great!!! My colors are a dusky purple and silver, but my FH wants to wear a kilt with red in it, soooo that's goona be fun xD
The black will look really nice with the blue though

I’m doing that color for dresses too (slate or dusty blue) but we are going with my FH and his BM in charcoal suits only because black was a little too formal feeling for what we want. I think the blue and black will look nice together. We are also using a dusty pink color to finish off our colors.

Black is like a neutral color and I think since it's his wedding too, you both could incorporate what you both like in the colors! I think the men wearing black with a dusty/slate blue tie should be fine and the bridesmaids wearing the blue ☺️ Or maybe see if he would go for charcoal. If not, that black should still be fine.

Yeah, since im doing a late wedding i want it to look formal. Idk i never knew this would be so hard 🙃 & this pandemic is no help!! My BM haven’t even started trying on dresses.

I think grey/charcoal is a good compromise! But I'm uploading some pictures of different suit colors for you! Maybe if you show him a visual, he may reconsider. One of the pics has the groom in black while groomsmen are in navy! The first pic.

We are almost wedding twins. I am getting married March 21st, 2021. Honestly I am not a fan of the black suit. If you are going to go with that color for the bridesmaid dresses, try a dark blue suit.

Black goes with everything, no problem. I like the colors. We are summer evening and I chose teal & lilac.
