What are your thoughts on personalized wire hangers?

As a bridesmaid gift, I mean. I think they're so cute, but I'm not sure how my bridesmaids would feel about them. Most of my bridesmaids have been bridesmaids many times over, so I vowed I wouldn't give anyone any more personalized wine glasses (we all have loads of them), and unfortunately I think...

As a bridesmaid gift, I mean. I think they're so cute, but I'm not sure how my bridesmaids would feel about them. Most of my bridesmaids have been bridesmaids many times over, so I vowed I wouldn't give anyone any more personalized wine glasses (we all have loads of them), and unfortunately I think the hangers are kind of along the same lines. I wouldn't get them ones that say "bridesmaid," they would all have their names on them instead.

My maid of honor, though, hasn't ever been in a wedding and I know she's psyched to be in mine, and she would LOVE something that shows her maid of honor status. Would it be weird to just get her one and not the other girls?

    I got one for myself, but I didn't think my bridesmaids would really use it after the wedding. It seemed pointless.

    I just got wooden hangers and used cute script style stickers to put their names on. It was super cheap and super cute too!!!

    I think they're cute and personally if I got one I would use it all the time as long as it didn't just say "bridesmaid". I plan on putting the nicknames that only I call my girls to make it a little more personal.

    I bought them for my bridal party. I had them personalized with their names rather than "bridesmaid" because I just think that's nicer.

    I also purchased Kate Spade wristlets for them during the 65% off sale yesterday and I bought my MOH an extra gift: a Kate Spade bangle that says "you and me" on the inside and "the hocus to my pocus, the lovey to my dovey, the hoity to my toity, the riff to my raff, the helter to my skelter"

    I have other little things planned for them that won't really cost me anything.

    SunshineJenn, you've got me searching for that bangle now!!! That sounds absolutely perfect.

    I already got the girls robes (which was the one photo-op related thing I'm allowing myself lol), 3 wick scented candles, flip flops, vera bradley umbrellas, and I'm also planning on getting them each jewelry (not for the wedding, something different for each girl based on her taste/style), and then either chocolates or maybe a book I think they would like. I love to read and most of my bridesmaids do, too.

    I would not have spent anymore than $5 or $10 on one.... found one on Etsy for $3 and couldn't pass it up.

    I think they are cute. But not worth the $20-50 they sell for. Seriously, a pack of 5 hangers is like $5! I found a couple sellers who sell just the wire name part. I can wrap them on a hanger myself if it saves me $20 a hanger.
