What are your grooms doing morning of?

Maura, on March 20, 2019 at 12:58 PM Posted in Planning 0 17
Usually brides spend the morning in hair and makeup with their bridesmaids. What will your grooms be doing? Will they sleep in and hang around the house/hotel until just before the ceremony? Are the groomsmen coming over early to hang out?

Sleeping in, and taking all the groomsmen to lunch (in the blocked hotel) around 12. Then heading to the venue around 1:30 PM to get dressed in the groom's suite & hangout & take getting ready pictures. I'll probably have those anti-puffy under eye masks in the room for them with snacks & beer. I was also thinking about hiring a mobile barber for the morning of, but I'm not sure yet!

They'll be going out to breakfast and hanging out! My FH definitely would've wanted to sleep in hahaha, but he'll be sleeping in the bridal suite the night before (I'll be staying at home) and he'll need to clear out before I arrive to start getting ready. He's ok with it though because 3/4 of his guys are from out of town, so it'll be a few extra hours to spend with them Smiley smile

My FH and his guys are gonna sleep in, grab some lunch, probably play video games, drink a beer or two and then head to our site to get ready about an hour before the ceremony.

He plans to just hang around with the other guys: groomsmen, dads, and brothers. Nothing special planned.

Just hanging out with his groomsmen at our place, I might need his help morning of to get the decorations set up. But once that is done, probably just hanging out.

They probably will be doing everything I wish I was doing. Sleeping in and living their best life ( LOL) but they will all be at the house, doing guy things, the barber is going to them so they have that advantage and we are having a nite wedding, and I believe they are going out the night before after rehearsal so probably sobering up....

FH and his groomsmen are staying together at the hotel (also the venue) the night before. in the morning they will have breakfast at the hotel then relax and play video games until its time to get ready. FH's barber is coming to style everyone's hair and the photographer will take pictures at the end of them getting ready

We have our venue rented out for two nights (it's a mountain inn with 10 rooms). We are all having breakfast together in the morning. Then splitting up to get ready. I think my FH will be going off with his BM and his father to see a movie or something. I told him he shouldn't be hanging around the venue with nothing to do and should go do something fun.

If I didn't take so long to get ready I would go out and have a boozy lunch with my bridesmaids Smiley smile

Probably sleeping in! Haha. Our venue has an epic grooms suite that they are allowed to use starting at 2pm. In the grooms suite, they will get to play some pool, drink scotch, and finish getting ready by putting on their jackets, cuff links, pocket watch, etc

Breakfast. Barber shop. We have the coolest barber shop in town. They have all kinds of vintage games--pool, foosball, darts, etc. They offer (free) beer and soda while you wait. And the barbers are incredible. Everyone is getting haircuts and hot shaves/ beard treatments. I'm so excited for them. Lol

We are organizing a fun run 5K type of event that morning for everyone coming to our wedding weekend, my FH doesn't run so I won't have to worry about seeing him that morning. lol

After the run they will probably play golf, grab lunch, pool time for a bit with beverages and then get ready. Our ceremony will be at 6:30pm and FH does not want to do a first look so these guys will literally have all day to do whatever.
