What are you walking down the aisle to?

I really want to do an instrumental version (string quartet or piano) of a pop song. So far we're considering Stay With Me (sam smith), Marry Me (train), Marry You (Bruno Mars), and All of Me (John Legend) but these all seem a little over done to me. Any suggestions of pop songs that would be good...

Any suggestions of pop songs that would be good for an instrumental cover and an aisle walk? And what are you planning on walking down the aisle to?

Edit: If anyone can find an instrumental version of Hello by Sugarbomb I'd be eternally grateful!

An instrumental cover of "Where Is My Mind" by Vitamin String Quartet.

I'm concerned that at 3 minutes and 50 seconds, it's too long, though.

I didn't want to regret not going with the semi traditional canon in D. Warning for you all: our ceremony musician played it a little for us when we met with him and it sounded great. then at the ceremony he went all improv piano solo and he claims what he played was canon in D, and in the video, about halfway up the long aisle you can recognize it as canon in D, but before that it did not sound vaguely like it. be VERY specific of which part of a song you want to hear when the doors open.

We've got a string trio for the day. Walking down the aisle to An Ashokan Farewell and walking out to the Blackadder Theme.

@Mrs.Temmie - I specifically told my string guys that they can play pretty much what they want for pre and post-ceremony EXCEPT for Canon in D - lol

May Bride, I LOVE that song! But FH dislikes country. I'm trying to find a non-country version to be played at our reception.

I'm not sure what song I'll be walking up to, but we'll be walking out to "Be My Forever" by Christina Perri and Ed Sheeran

Bridal party is walking in to "A Thousand Years", I'm walking to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and we're leaving as husband and wife to "Everything is Awesome" from The Lego Movie. All will be played on the ukulele. Smiley smile

Our friends (also our band) are playing "I Will" by The Beatles for the BP, and "Here Comes the Sun" also by The Beatles, for me!

The Piano Guys cover of A Thousand Years. Apparently it's very popular. Oh well, I love it.

I am still trying to figure this out. My sister did A Thousand Years by The Piano Guys instrumental at her wedding and I really love it but I won't do the same. I don't want to copy her.

My FH has rearranged the traditional Mendelssohn's Wedding March. It will be played on piano by a friend of his.

I've always wanted to use Canon in D in my wedding ceremony - typical, I know, but so pretty. But I decided to have my Bridal Party walk in to Canon and I'm going to walk in to an instrumental version of All You Need is Love. Because I love The Beatles.

I did 'Better Together' by Jack Johnson. It was light and upbeat and suited the outdoor theme well.

The song that sticks with us most as 'our wedding song' was the signing song though. We used Ed Sheeran Thinking out loud. I remember during that song being the very first time I got to have a semi private moment with DH, we just hugged for like 20sec while the song was playing in the background and the others were doing their signing bit. I just remember being so happy!
