What are you walking down the aisle to?

I really don't want to be traditional and was thinking the song "marry me" by train to walk down the aisle to. Also are u doing a different song for the wedding party or will it be the same for everyone. These little details kill me!

Kenny Cheney - me and you.

He showed it to me one night it bed and we both started to cry. It was so perfect. We have a daughter together and he has a son he even had planned at a certain part of the song where the kids would join us in our first dance. When I told my mom we had picked a country song she rolled her eyes (she's not a country person-neither was I until I met him) I put it on for her and she started bawling her eyes out.

I'm being super traditional and walking to Canon in D. My bridesmaids will be walking to another classical piece.

Trumpet Voluntary. It's the song Princess Di used Smiley smile so traditional.

ETA my BM's walked to Canon in D. And to correct myself, apparently my tired brain thought wedding march and trumpet voluntary were the same. I have no idea how I messed that up. Probably because I listened to so many classic wedding songs.

Our first dance was to Better Together by Jack Johnson. My dad and I danced to House at Pooh Corner by Loggins and Messina. He used to sing it to me as a baby Smiley smile

@FutureMrsKristenS I walked down to Canon in D as well. It started playing as the bridesmaids were walking and then reached a crescendo when my brother and I started walking.

I'm having an acoustic guitar player for my ceremony who also sings. The plan right now is to have the BMs come in to Young and Beautiful by Lana del Ray and then I'll walk into Mirrors by Justin Timberlake.

I love the Jurassic Park theme!! We also had a male soloist sing the Lord's Prayer as well. It was really lovely.

Love the Jurassic Park theme! Brilliant idea! I'm still deciding on this topic too as well as the first dance! Luckily this is something that can be changed close to the date bc I'm so indecisive

@Christina I bet that was so amazing. I love ZBB and adore that song. It's actually my lock screen on my phone. I love country music but it does make it tough with so many options

It was beautiful. The Piano Guys have a great instrumental version of it too. Most guests didn't catch what it was but Jason's boss (who was completely trashed) came up mid reception to tell us how much he loved it.

I'm going to be so incredibly traditional by walking down the aisle to "Bridal Chorus/Here Comes the Bride" by Wagner. I know it might not have the best history, but it is the only song I can actually picture walking down the aisle to. I've listened to lots of other songs, but none of them have an effect on me or make me tear up like it does.

I totally respect the traditional route. I'm just not a tradition bride in some senses. I want non traditional music but refuse to see my husband until that moment he sees me walk down the aisle.

    Family/groomsmen/FH- Thinking Out Loud (instrumental)

    Bridesmaids/flower girls- Marry Me (instrumental)

    Me- Tenerife Sea (with words)

Still undecided on the song to leave the aisle. And to enter the barn.
