Hello,

I am looking for some cost effective ideas on what to feed my bridal party before the wedding. I was thinking of having someone pick up something like those trays of wraps/sandwhiches and salads from costco and having those while we are getting ready. Any other ideas? We will be ready and out of hotel by 1pm for pictures, should I do more breakfast food?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

We're not providing breakfast, but we are doing pizza for lunch. I don't eat sandwiches or deli meat and with all the crazy dietary choices of our bridal party, pizza was the one thing everyone would eat.

Such a great question. I hadn't thought of this. I don't recommend anything with sauce, condiments or grease. All of those things could ruin yours and your bridal party's dresses.

Some options could be: sandwiches/sliders, veggie trays (veggies with fiber will keep them full longer), pastries (bread will keep them full longer), water, fruit (be careful of juicy fruits like oranges), juice (stay away from cocktail juice).

In the morning we had fruit and champagne. After DH, BM, my sister and I all had KFC with our photographer, videographer and a few family friends (drivers) that helped us during our first look. The rest of the girls decided to go to the pancake house across the street from our hotel for lunch.

Deli tray, and fruit for the morning. Thought about bagels but that's a lot of carbs/bread when you factor in the sandwiches. Carbs make everyone tired which is not good for wedding day! We'll also have mimosas.

We did Panera bagels for breakfast and sandwich wraps and water that we previously picked up from Sam's club the day before.

I'm planning on getting muffins/pastries from costco along with fruit and bacon to cook for breakfast as well as mimosas of course. At our venue there is a lodge/restaurant that we'll probably get lunch from if we need it. We are staying at the venue all weekend so we'll have plenty of food with us too.
