What are some of the last minute “little things” we often forget?

Amanda, on October 17, 2019 at 11:55 PM Posted in Planning 2 10
I’m getting married in 3 weeks. So far, I forgot (but luckily remembered just in time):
-Ring box/holder for photos
-lighters for sparklers
-buckets for sparklers
-print out table/seating chart
-jewelry for me
-food for when we are getting hair/makeup

What can anyone else think of? You might just make me realize I forgot the too!!

Don't forget some kind of emergency kit with things like band aids, tylenol, safety pins, Tide pin, tampons, etc. You never know when you or bridal party might need one of these items and it doesn't have to be complicated or even in a cute bag. We will be having one for our wedding day/bridal party and I'm just throwing it all into a gallon sized Ziploc bag.

Hanger for your dress? I forgot to get a pretty one (for pictures) until three days before.

You're probably also going to want to have a toothbrush and toothpaste - for after any food and before you walk down the aisle.

Not sure if you've got it yet, but you something borrowed, something blue, something old, and something new.

Don't forget to bring an example of your invitation suite for your photographer to take photos of.

Hairspray and bobby pins, you never know if you might need either! Makeup for touch-ups (maybe blush or eyeliner or a waterproof top coat for over your mascara). Tissues are always good to have!

Not sure if you're doing any type of unity event during your ceremony (like lighting candles or pouring sand), but whatever goes with that. We did God's Knot and had this big frame with 3 ropes. Well the end of it needed to be tied by something. I bought a white ribbon with a bow that i wanted to use but left it as something my husband would be responsible to bring. Luckily, I gave my MOH a small hair tie to have on her bouquet, just in case and sure enough, we needed it!

Your jewelry, including rings, invitation, garter, shoes, lingerie or undergarments if you desire, and any other accessories you might want photos of prior to getting dressed. If you're doing a dollar dance a bag or hat for the $.

Don't forget your card box! And any signs you want at your reception (like a sign showing signature drinks, or your hashtag or something saying gifts).

I'd also recommend makeup removing wipes! They're great to use before going to bed on your wedding night. Regular shoes and clothes for the day after the wedding. A button-up or zip-up to wear while getting your hair done.

Get your ring cleaned before hand, know if you are having pics of your invitations etc and if so, have them there with you or with the photographer. Cash. A hanger you don't mind being photographed. Sleeping pills for the night before... I had 3 hrs which wasn't fun. Mints for the ceremony. An emergency kit including headache medicine, moleskin for shoes, bandaids, double sided dress tape etc
