Are you referring to signature drinks? Or asking what types of liquor are in a basic bar?

I prefer vodka and soda water when I get a cocktail. If you have a variety of mixers you should be fine.

    Run, Whiskey, Vodka, White/Red wines.

Edit: sorry I'm not into signature drinks, just if you have a variety of liquor and mixes people already have their own concoctions.

There is no 'must have' beverage that's common to everyone! But if you stock gin, rum, vodka and whisky with some sodas, one or two syrups and some ice, you'll have a great basic bar.

    1) Stock the bar with a variety.

    2) let people choose what they want to drink. Most people go with what's familiar.

Margarita. But we live in Texas so other than beer having a margarita is a staple. But I agree with Emily. Stock up on the main liquors and then add fruit juice, soda, sparkling water, lemons, limes, and some mixes.

I have a 5 hour open bar with mid-range liquor. However I will only drink ciroq vodka and my venue does not offer it. They are allowing me to bring in my own bottles for a corkage fee. Super excited.

We had moscow mules as one of our signature drinks and they were a huge hit. You have to make sure the bar will stock ginger beer though.

Just bartended a party last weekend and the most requested drink of the night was rum and coke. 2nd runner up was 7&7 (whiskey & 7up, but we only had sprite). A few people were disappointed that we didn't have ginger ale to mix with. We didn't stock the bar though, the hosts did lol

A Cabernet or Merlot and Chardonnay or Pinot Gris and maybe a sparkling option too. If you plan on a champagne toast.

We did toasts with whatever the guests had.

It really depends on your guests. My side loves wine, while FH's side loves beer. No one really ever drinks hard liquor so I think it's ok to skip that.

For me, I love light beer and fruity wine, but I would be most excited about champagne!

You can have a signature cocktail, but it's better just to have selections of everything and let people decide what they want to drink. Not everyone orders the specialty cocktails off of the cocktail menu at restaurants/bars. I would say to keep the beer and wine plentiful though because it's a good standby.

For wine...pinot grigio and chardonnay for white, pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon for red.
