Holly"Given", on February 28, 2016 at 11:07 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

So far I've been planning this wedding on my own on the count of my fiance in the army, so I have no idea what Im missing or what else needs to be done. I bought my dress got bridal party a tire put down deposits for cemerony and reception locations. Still haven't chose food/beverage menus. Found the flowers. Have the officiant. Started the premarital counseling. Paid the DJ. What else am I missing?

The weddingwire checklist is great for this kind of thing! Try it out. What about a photographer?

Neither does anyone else! Until you're getting married, most people have never planned a wedding. You seem to be in good shape. Don't forget the details -- cake topper, your accessories (shoes/hair pieces, jewelry), making hair/makeup appointments. What about the cake? Registry?

Have you picked out STDs and invitations? Are you doing centerpieces (that aren't flowers)? Got an idea of what you want for bridal party attire? Are you having a guest book? If you're having out of town guests, you might want to consider booking a block of rooms at a hotel. What about the rings?

Look up wedding check lists. I had a check list going in excel and was always adding things to remember small details.

FH is currently living on base without me so I understand the feeling of planning alone lol. The WW checklist has helped me a lot.

You need to use a checklist! http://www.realsimple.com/weddings/weddings-planning/wedding-planning-checklist

Also, please change your avatar to something other than the rings. The rings are associated with spam/trolls, so it will help you get more responses!
