Tara gives a great resource in the PC and you could also try local higher-end costume stores, as there's some that do fittings so he can't try some nice era-specific suit rentals on. Speaking from experience, but his was a 1920's golf suit.

This is going to sound odd but a costume rental place will probably have it. Maybe a vintage store?

Where do you live? I am assuming that if he wants western wear, you live in an area where it would be appropriate. Have you checked out the Western wear stores available to you?

Is he thinking of a frock coat vs a duster? Dusters tend to be made of canvas and very heavy.

Have you tried western wear stores like western warehouse?

I'm having a hard time with this too. I've determined we won't be able to rent if we want a more western/country look to the groomsmen attire. I'd check Boot Barn, Cavenders, Amazon, and Sheplers to buy them!
