Our wedding was yesterday and it was amazing! It was everything I could have ever wanted, and more. I got to marry my best friend in the world and love of my life on our 5 year anniversary. We had our ceremony on the mountain under a beautiful gazebo. Everything was lush green and in bloom, the weather was perfect, and everything was beautiful. I cried, Hubby cried, my brother cried, my SILs cried. It was amazing! Hubbys eldest sister married us, and had such a beautiful speach prepared, it was very moving. Our youngest daughter wanted to be held through the ceremony and she kept jumping back and forth between hubby and I so it was like a game of hot potato, but I didn't care at all. Everyone laughed a little about it and then enjoyed the ceremony. Next was the reception which took place in a restaurant. Unfortunately, our 4 year old got sick in the car on our way to the reception so we had to make a detour back to our house. We got her changed and cleaned up, check for a fever, and after she assured us that she felt fine, we decided to go to the reception. Of course, after leaving, our youngest was chewing on her fingers (teething) and put her fingers too far which caused her to spit up. So back to the house we went to clean up child #2. When we finally made it to the reception (an hour later) everyone was having a lot of fun. The kids were playing in the activity booth I had set up for them, the photographer was making her rounds capturing all the decor and everyone in their conversations, the decor was set up exactly as I had asked and looked stunning with the restaurant decor, appetizers were served and everyone had placed their dinner order, and as we walked in, everyone shouted and clapped for us. They got our apps our immediately and everyone was served their soup or salad shortly after that. We had so much fun seeing everyone, celebrating, and eating all of that delicious food. Our reception ended around 3:30pm and we headed home to change before going to the BBQ after party my MIL hosted. She made an AMAZING BBQ buffet spread, the kids had a blast in the pool, we got to hang out more with family and see friends who weren't able to attend our ceremony and reception. My photographer even came and told ok pictures for almost two hours! (She was so amazing! She went above and beyond all day). It really was a perfect day and we had our kids in bed by 7:30pm and got to have some alone time. I am so happy to finally be married to my amazing man and I cannot wait to see all of the pictures!!!!
