I actually planned everything down to every last detail and put together to do lists for everything to get put up, and my vendors dropped the ball and I didn’t even see lots of my decorations at the wedding. I would double, triple check with every vendor (especially day of coordinator) to ensure that all of your ducks are in a row because there were just so many promises from everyone that went unfulfilled. They didn’t even put up our welcome sign. In addition to that, make sure that on your wedding day you stay calm, enjoy every moment, and don’t stress about the things out of your control! Also I wish I touched my makeup up during the reception and that I pinned my veil in more because it kept falling out. Haha

My favorite memory was looking around at all of our friends and family together on the dance floor and seeing how happy and full of love the garden was. It was such a surreal and wonderful, once in a lifetime feeling!
A lot went wrong! A lot of our decor didn’t get put up despite my multiple assignment sheets and tons of discussions about decor leading up to the wedding. It made me very upset all day because I put a year’s worth of money and effort into creating everything. Catering didn’t bring us food during photos (cocktail hour) like the specifically promised to, and despite bringing 7 liters of vodka and 8 fifths of whiskey and the catering manager telling us we were crazy to bring that much, they ran out before cocktail hour was even over!!!! Big misses, we feel like everyone dropped the ball with lots of things despite constant reassurance leading up to the wedding. We will have to talk with them about getting some of our money back when we get home from our honeymoon. Despite the disappointments, overall, it was the most special and happy day of our lives! It went by so fast but we enjoyed every moment!

I think the most important thing is that you were loved and very happy on your day (other than the disappointments) and it is a good memory that NO ONE can take away from you! I hope that you won’t have any problems getting some of your money back.
