I know this one is obvious, after all, we all are. I've been planning our wedding since May 4th 2019, and it's finally coming up. I've planned about 5 completely unique weddings (I should really be a qualified wedding planner by now), and I can honestly say that this was not how I saw it going. We were originally wanting a nice wedding in Colorado Springs with 65 guests. Instead, it will be just us. Even our daughter will be at school (We might do a little ceremony with her in the evening, not sure yet). We're just going to the municipal building, getting the marriage license, and signing it. We were planning on doing a small ceremony with immediate family, but now that my family can't make it out, there doesn't seem to be a point. We're going to do a vow renewal with the ceremony and reception we really wanted in 2022, (bonus points, December 11th is a Sunday in 2022), and it'll be worth the wait. In the end, being married is more important for us than any party. I'm excited to finally be Erin Benyak.
