Hey WW! So the title says it all! My fiancé and I decided to elope in 3 weeks! (2-22-2020) We will still be having our “big” wedding on June 13th but we decided to go ahead and elope because how difficult the military has been through our whole engagement and we thought this would be the best option for us! If you go back to my previous post stressed and venting... it will explain our situation. Anyways, I’m so excited to be marrying my best friend in just 21 days! For the elopement I have already got my venue and photographer! I will talk to my florist today or tomorrow about a mini bouquet and I’m doing my own hair and makeup so that’s taken care of! Is there anything else I’m forgetting?

If you want to spend the night in a hotel I would say book it asap so you can get a better rate. Otherwise you sound like you’ve got all the bars covered. Congratulations, this is so exciting!

Date twins! I’m eloping as well. Sounds like you’ve got the major stuff covered.

I’m now focusing on finalizing the ceremony script and small details. We have a videographer and photographer so I’m thinking about what I want captured. I just got a custom hanger for my dress, I got a cool geometric ring box and I’m considering getting a small cake. If we do the cake I’m gonna get a cake topper. So maybe think about what details you want to photos of?

Are you wearing the same dress or do you have an elopement dress? What about what to do after the ceremony? What about your marriage license?

I have a separate dress for the elopement! After the ceremony, we are all going to have a late lunch and then relax the rest of the day! As far as the marriage license we are getting that the day before, and since he's military we are able to get i the same day we apply for it!

My parents, my grandma, and some friends are coming! None of his family lives in Texas (that's where we are having the elopement and wedding), so they wont be able to make the elopement but they will be here for the big wedding!
