I wasn't going to invite any celebs..I don't even know where you find the addresses...but now i'm considering inviting David Tennant and Tom Hardy lol

@Sue M. That'd be so cool!! FH loves him (Firefly was the best) but wouldn't dare invite a celebrity. Nathan Fillion would have been great because of his work in Firefly and Castle.

Firefly is also incredible, I'm a big fan of his work overall. Nathan Fillion is fantastic! Loved him in Dr. Horrible, BtVS, and Firefly (of course!), I heard Castle was great. Looks like we share similar fandoms.

@Sue yes we do! Castle is really different. The studio is bigger so the production is shinier ( ), but Fillion is amazing and Stana Katic is incredible. But I think it's coming to a close after so many seasons; it's got that tired feel.

@Zoni do it! What's the band? Dave Grohl would be a great guest because he's a hometown boy and is awesome but he has a concert and freedom ride that weekend in the area (my original plan for that weekend before the wedding took over. )

We "invited" like 6 celebs and only Obama responded. *womp womp* About 2 of the invitations got returned to us bc of bad addresses.

I would like to invite Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. But I really want them to come. And be my friends.

@Claudia, it's a Korean band but one of the members lives a couple of hours away from us, and the FW has an unnatural dread of him. Haha! I'm still considering doing it. Just for giggles. It might be worth the grief.

I haven't thought much about if I'm going to do this. I will have extras left over, so why not?

Ladies!! If you have a couple extra invitations laying around, or if you have the wiggle room to order more, even if they're not the same as everyone else's, stick them in an envelope and address them to the celebrity of your choice. Use the link @Sue posted to find their address. Will they attend? Most likely not. But are we going to live in fear of taking chances? No, because what's the fun in that? So if you're thinking of doing it, just go for it. Kicks and giggles all around!

I'd kind of be interested to see what sort of results we all get from mailing invites to celebs. Which of them will actually respond? Hmm!
