I bought my dress off the rack last year in July. It fit perfectly just had to get it shortened. I stored it at my parents house and left it. Tomorrow is my alterations appointment so when I went to pick my dress up last night I tried it on to remember what it looks like....well now it won't zip up...

Tomorrow is my alterations appointment so when I went to pick my dress up last night I tried it on to remember what it looks like....well now it won't zip up all the way.

When I get stressed I gain weight, and over indulge. I gained 7lbs since July. I'm not sure if it can be let out or not yet, but I feel so disappointed in myself.

I'm trying to stay calm until my appointment tomorrow and see what they can do but I'm worried. Did anyone else have a last minute weight gain problem?

Thank you all for the encouragement and suggestions. I don't drink a lot of soda but I 'll definitely cut out the sugary juices. The nightly glass of wine will definitely have to go too.

Up your water intake. I like the waterlogged app which turns drinking water into a bit of a game and you visualize your target.

Try and make healthy food choices such as fruits, veggies, lean proteins, etc.

This has not happened to me but I just wanted to offer my support and reiterate what everyone else has said - it's going to be okay. No matter what things will work out, whether you drop a few lbs (in a healthy way) or get a panel put in.

I feel your pain! A good seamstress is worth her weight in gold and you might not really have an issue with fit. I will share a workout tip though. Whenever I want to get noticeable results fast I do the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I can see a real difference within 3 weeks. I'm actually on it now because my wedding is March 11.

I have the opposite problem. Ive got less than 2 weeks and I get so stressed, I can't eat or sleep. And for some reason the first place I lose weight is my boobs (there isn't much there to lose in the first place so this especially sucks). My seamstress keeps having to tighten the elastic she put in the top of the dress because the dress keeps slipping down. The funny thing is, when I first bought the dress, I was concerned if I gained any weight at all, it wouldn't fit.

Damn, I gained 7 lbs in 5 days during vacation last week....

Whole30 always works well for me. It's eating whole foods and cutting out grains, sugar, alcohol, etc.

It doesn't fit and all you gained was 7lbs? That isn't a lot. Well I guess it depends on your height. I am 5'8 and easily fluctuate a good 10 lbs depending on the time of the year. You have some time to loose it. It is crunch time.
