Welcome drink

Hello!

Our venue has an option for a welcome drink for guests that are walking from the ceremony space into our cocktail hour room. We’re hoping it would alleviate long lines right as our bar is opening. Has anyone ever heard of this or done this? Thanks in advance❤️

I think this would be an okay idea. Maybe like wine or champagne.

My venue is offering champagne as they arrive to the venue and I’m also having a champagne tower.

Daughter's venue had servers circulate with white wine and champagne as guests exited the ceremony space and it did seem to help minimize lines at the bar.

That’s a great idea. I’ve been to one wedding that did this and they have everyone champagne.

If you have a signature drink, you could offer, but I think it’s a great idea.

I’m having a Destination wedding in Cancun and they offered this!! I loved the idea.. I got to choose the drink. I think is great so people are not standing around trying to figure out what to order from the bar.. they can do that after their first drink lol

Yes I love that idea Leslie! A cocktail would be delicious! I would definitely be impressed as a guest attending a wedding that did this.

I think that is a great idea. I have not been to a wedding that did this but I have seen it on TV and think it's great!

We went to a wedding recently that did that! It was wine in small glass, but it was a hit with all of us guests!
