Welcome Bags

We are having a small private ceremony and I'm looking for ideas to put in welcome bags for each person. Our immediate family will be helping with everything the day before. We will be getting gifts for our bridal party and parents but would like something for each person going out of their way to be there with us! Just looking for ideas.

    A couple things I plan to include if we do welcome bags are chapstick & small things of sunscreen (because so constantly forget mine when we go up to the mountains), mini pastries from a local French bakery that we LOVE, trail mix (feels appropriate for an outdoor mountain wedding), a custom drawn map, an itinerary, and a bottle or two of water.

    I think this is dependent on if it's outdoors or indoors and time of season, that way you can make it custom to those.

    I just did mine today. I put in some water, salty and sweet snacks, sunscreen and chapstick along with a nice letter and directions to our welcome dinner and wedding.

    Following! We would like to do welcome bags as well and any ideas would be great. I am all for the chapstick, sunscreen and snacks. Bottled water sounds great too! I also agree the theme/season/location plays a role.

    Our welcome bag will have 2 water bottles, 2 different snacks "his favorite" and "her favorite", a welcome pamphlet, a mini pack of aleve, and a mini pack of pepto.

    These are all great ideas. I think we're going to do snacks, water, chapstick and a pamphlet with all our wedding weekend information on it!
