Welcome Bags - yes or No?

Greetings! We're rapidly approaching our June 16 wedding and are debating welcome bags. We didn't book a block of rooms, so we have no idea where people are staying. There will probably be 15 or so guests coming from out of town. It will be a bit of a pain, logistically, to deliver them. SO, is...

Greetings! We're rapidly approaching our June 16 wedding and are debating welcome bags. We didn't book a block of rooms, so we have no idea where people are staying. There will probably be 15 or so guests coming from out of town. It will be a bit of a pain, logistically, to deliver them.

SO, is everybody doing welcome bags, or is this more of a thing that you read about and not many people do it in real life?

    I love the idea of welcome bags but if you don't have a hotel block I would definitely skip it to avoid all that extra stress of tracking down guest. With your wedding in less than a month I certainly wouldn't add on that stress.

    We are doing it for our blocked hotel guests! It would be too hard to find people in other hotels. I've been to one out of state wedding and they did bags for blocked guests too.
