Weirdest Pick up lines ever?

ChildressAtLast, on July 9, 2015 at 11:42 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 29

So I met my FH on OkCupid, and we met less than a week later, fell in love and here we are today. Well FH always says that he wishes he had saved our first conversation, but after our first date we were both sure that there was no one else and both got rid of our accounts. Turns out while he deleted his, I only disabled mine, so I was able to go back and find our first conversation. While in the process of trying to get my printer to work, a get a message and I open it planning on telling the sender that Im engaged and that it would just be a waste. The one and only line was How much would you charge for sex and why? I was amazed. I told him that one i was engaged and why i was logged in at all, and two that was the worst pick up line and that being less of a creep would work out way better for him with the next girl. Made me wonder whats the worst pick up line you've ever gotten.

Also going to print of convo and give it to FH over a nice dinner tonight. He should be thrilled!

    I used okcupid before I met FH... There were some serious weeds to get to the flowers on that site... Worst line I received was "What would it take to get to the center of your tootsie pop?"

    Umm, ew. Go away.

    I also once got "Will you send me pictures of your feet?" As a person who dislikes feet... no thanks.

    One of my exes used this baffling prize: "You must be a thief, 'cause I saw your daddy taking candy from a K-Mart."

    A man once started off by telling me "I wear Axe" as a means of telling me he thinks he smells good.

    ETA: As a middle school teacher at the time, I was always surrounded by clouds of Axe and so I was less than impressed.

    I met my FH on Okcupid too!

    Once I got a message from this guy who had 3 children all under age 2 and he said he was looking for a Mama for his babies? um..no Oh yeah, his key to a successful marriage was passionate sex.

    Zoni - that line doesn't even make sense. WTF?

    I met my FH on Match. I never got any odd requests for sex, but I was never on OK Cupid. A number of years ago I was on Plenty of Fish and there were some real non-winners, but still don't think I got anything like that. My biggest pet peeve with internet dating was guys who didn't really bother to introduce themselves. Emails like "Hi sexy" "what's up?" etc. never got a response from me. I do have younger friends who actually get pictures of guys junk on dating sites. Ick! Seriously does that ever work for them?!

    I have a BEST pickup line ever:

    Guy: Did you know that you and Ben and Jerry have something in common??

    Me: What?

    You pretty much HAVE to respond, right?!?!?

    Guy: They're both things I want to spoon!

    I always find it funny that guys will use lines like that and then complain about not being able to find a "nice respectable girl". One- everyone should be respected, and two- the girls you want to find wont respond to lines like that!

    The funniest pickup line I ever got was a guy came up to me and put his hand on my butt and said "Is this seat taken?" I guess I found it so funny that I didn't smack him for touching my butt LOL.

    While I was working one day, a guy said "Stunning eyes. They'd look better in my car."

    What the heck? What does that even mean?? So I responded with "What? In your trunk?" Hopefully I made him feel like a creep.

    @Tara haha that's lame!

    FH's wasn't weird but it was a bit different and I loved it. We were talking online (though we met in person at a research conference), and he said "so I'm thinking it's a good thing you're 4 provinces away, because by now I would have done something stupid like ask you out on a date". I love him!

    Also I had a dumbass tell me that his mom said he needed a woman in his bed at night to be able to sleep, and since I ignored that, he told me to tell the next guy that flirted with me to go away because "now I would have an Iranian man to take care of me". WTF

    @Hannah -- Yeeeeep.

    I'm actually amused that a lot of people met their FH or FW on an e-dating site. My FW and I met online, but through our writing, not a dating site. Sadly, there were no bad pick up lines involved.

    Fh didn't use a line, he just introduced himself and told me that he wanted to get to know each other and that he thought the best relationships started in friendship.

    FH's friend once dressed as a pizza for Halloween and kept telling girls he was "hot and ready" (Little Caesar's slogan, lol) or asking them if they liked hot italian sausage. The best part is that he dressed as a Papa Johns pizza so the slogan made no sense.

    I met FH on OkCupid too and I'm happy that we could save our first messages Smiley smile

    I got lots of creepy messages (haha, autocorrect keeps suggesting massages.. yay, creepy massages), but for most of them, I used brain bleach to forget them Smiley smile The funniest was those that sounded really well written, but I didn't respond since I wasn't interested in the guy. A few weeks later I would get the exact same message again. That happened more than once, I wrote a guy once that he should keep track of whom he wrote already, but he didn't react.

    The creepiest real life pick-up line was when I was in an exchange student program at a bar where lots of exchange students hung out. A guy came up to me and asked "Did you come here to get laid?' I was too shocked to slap him, so I just said no and walked away.

    I had a guy at an office party come up to me and introduce himself and say he's been wanting to meet me because, "I see your desk at work sometimes and your desk makes me happy."
