Weird with no boutonnieres?

I was thinking of skipping boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen at my wedding, partly for cost and partly because I just never saw the point of them. I always thought it seemed a little silly to put flowers on the guys. Would it look weird if they were missing? On one hand I'm not really going...

I always thought it seemed a little silly to put flowers on the guys. Would it look weird if they were missing? On one hand I'm not really going for a casual or low-key wedding, but on the other hand I tend to have pretty plain taste/style. For what it's worth, FH has absolutely no preference.

We are doing feathers. Half because the cost of flowers is crazy and the other half because my FH duck hunts and we thought it would be a pretty cool way to incorporate them into the wedding

Our wedding will be pretty dressy as well.we are not having boutonnière a for the guys. They will have pocket squares, but that's it. I think it will be nice Smiley smile

    FH REFUSES to wear flowers.

My FH doesn't want them so we aren't doing them.

I don't think it would look weird. FH decided he didnt want to wear one, and his groomsmen aren't either. They're doing pocket squares, and a flower lapel pin.

I think you'd be fine without them. I've honestly always thought they were a little too prom-y.

We're having pocket squares instead of bouts too. Only my dad and stepdad will have a bout.

Save your money. No one will likely even notice that they don't have them. Use that money to spend on something else Smiley smile

Thanks everybody. I love when you guys help me justify my choices, because I know my mother will find it shocking that I could even consider bucking any wedding tradition.
