Weird thing to be excited for

So my FH has a HUGE family. A lot of his generation is getting married. I keep getting oddly excited when we dont get an invite to someone's wedding, because that means that we don't have to invite them to ours. I love when people make the tough decisions for us haha

Just remember that you really don't have to invite people just because they've invited you. Some people elope with just two witnesses, and some have 350 people there. If you get invited to the one with 350 people, that doesn't mean you're closer to them than the couple that had just two witnesses and didn't invite you.

Haha. This made me so happy. I know how you feel. FH and I keep joking about how we hope only about 60% of the people we invited show up. We invited all family members to not ruffle feathers but would be totally fine if the ones we aren't close to rsvp no.
