Weight to lose

Lynne, on June 24, 2019 at 3:31 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 16

My wedding is next year but I am starting today with my weight loss plan. I have a lot to lose so I need to start now. I don't want to be a fat bride again.

I have a beautiful dress that will be here in a few days and it's too small right now. But my first goal is to be able to wear it shortly after I get it. I need to lose around 20 pounds to be able to wear it.

Tomorrow is when I go back to the gym. I can't wait.

You can do it. The first step is getting started. Maybe have a friend go with you to keep you motivated to go and it’s always fun to have someone else to do it with. You’ve got this! Good luck!

I just want to say to you that you're beautiful. This weight loss.. do it for you because you want a healthy lifestyle and to feel good in general, don't do it specifically for this day, ya know what I mean? You're beautiful regardless.

5 lbs at a time and you'll hit 20 in no time! If you make your first goal small then it's easier to hit and then you feel good about accomplishing it sooner! Reward yourself with a new workout tank every 5 lbs to keep up your momentum. Weight loss can be a very slow process so don't get discouraged when a week goes by and you haven't lost anything. As long as you have more good weeks than bad weeks it evens out. Remember it's more about good eating habits than gym habits. You so got this!!

I'm working out and watching what I eat. I got my dress in the size I am now so I don't freak myself out with 'what if I don't lose the weight" because of my wedding being in October. My first fitting will be the end of August so i'm hoping to at least tone up

20 lbs should be fairly easy to cut by next year. I recommend the keto diet. My neurologist recommended I start it in April (for brain benefits) and I have unintentionally lost 40 lbs since cutting all the carbs.

I have more to lose than 20, but that's what I need to lose to get a dress to fit. My wedding dress isn't being ordered until next year

I’m in an Herbalife 6 week weight loss challenge right now and I’m down 5.5 lbs in 2 weeks!!. I’m 130 lbs and would like to lose 15 lbs to get back to my weight that I was when my fiancé and I first got together...lol. I do not think I’m overweight in anyway I would just like to look “fit” for our honeymoon cruise. You can do this girl! It’s all about mindset 😁

I started my weight loss journey on June 15th! I haven't checked my weight. I am only going to check it once a week or once every two weeks. The best thing for this is having someone to motivate you! My MOH took it upon herself and got a gym membership after I did and said " WE got this" if that's not a good friend, IDK what is. But, her motivation while we are doing our cardio and just through the whole process is amazing! Last week we went 5 days straight. This week we started off strong. 1.5 miles on the elliptical and 1 mile walking/jogging on treadmill. I sweated like I have never sweated before.

I have 2.5 months to lose the weight I want, however even after wedding I won't be done. I want to be healthy sooo badly. This is why I am doing it.

Motivation is key. As long as you have someone cheering you on and you have the will power to keep going, you will do amazing things.

Good luck! Keep us updated on your journey.
