Yup. I am close but I have decided to let my dietitian friend help me out this last month. It sucks ha ha. You are not alone.

Agreed. I'm a little over 3 months away, and I haven't lost nearly the amount of weight I wanted to lose. The scale isn't moving and I don't see any changes, but other people do. I guess I'll take that. Like Kristen said, you're not alone!

Hello, I joined Noom about 6 months before the wedding and it's been about 3. I've lost almost 10 lbs but it has been a very windy road! It can take a week to lose a pound and then a day to gain it back and sometimes I get discouraged and want to give up.

    Things that have helped..

    - Meal prep & do your grocery shopping and choose fresh fruit/veggies that are easy for you to snack on. Lean meats like turkey also work.

    - Find a workout program you like and set aside about 30 mins a workout, 5 times a week to do it. I go on the elliptical usually but got the Women's Health Wedding Workout DVD from my local library, but there are a lot of resources online that you can find!

    - Have ppl keep you accountable and share your progress with ppl! Their encouragement makes all the difference.

If it helps Jami, I never thought I could lose weight, hate the gym and hate dieting. Thought all hope was lost for me, BUT I worked out with a personal trainer once a week for an hour session and made sure fruits and vegetables were a part of every meal (something I never did before). I did light workouts at home almost daily and did not drink any soda. I lost 15 lbs!!! After years of no success on my own, my personal trainer made a huge unexpected impact for me. Hope this helps and for the record, I’m sure you will gorgeous at any size!! ❤️

I'm not at all experienced at weight loss or working out but I went from 198 to 166 in two months time, thanks to Covid. Being stuck in the house since May really helped with not eating out. I mean not even ordering in because I was afraid. So I literally cooked every meal for 2 months. At lot of the meals consisted of onions, peppers, garlic, salt and pepper, they really go a long way. I cooked a lot of chicken breast meals (chicken breast cut open and stuffed with chopped red and green peppers, onions, cheddar cheese and cajun seasoning rubbed all over) BEST MEAL EVER!!! Ate a lot of shrimp and even did pasta dishes. I also baked most of the meals and only cooked with olive oil, maybe did about 3 fried meals. We love fried food and we didn't even miss it because of all the new recipes I was finding, I mean we had nothing but time lol. I exercised maybe for about a whole week and quit, just started eating better. Lots of veggies. I didn't even notice I was loosing weight until I went to the doctors early last month. I NEVER thought I'd ever see the 160s again 😂 but I'm forever grateful for that part of Covid. Our eating habits have drastically changed and it literally got my weight down.

Sorry that was soooo long but I truly believe it was because we had a lot of fresh food and didn't have a lot of processed things. I'm not sure of what your already doing but definitely changing the diet is worth a shot!

You are not alone. A few others and myself who are all looking to lose weight are thinking of starting a Facebook group to keep eachother motivated and focused as we work towards losing weight for our weddings. Search 'Wedding Workout Buddies' if you are interested.

I lost 12 pounds in 8 weeks by eating under 1500 calories everyday and doing Chloe Ting workouts for free on YouTube. I did her 2 week shred and then her 28 day flat tummy challenge.
