Any excuse is a good excuse. You want to feel good? Good excuse. You want to look better? Good excuse. You want to start making healthier food and lifestyle choices that may result in weight loss? Good excuse. You want to make sure your dress fits? Good excuse. And so on. If you are looking for good exercises, it would really be anything that gets you moving. Losing weight is a simple equation: calories in vs calories out. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in. This can be done by eating less calories, exercising more to burn off more calories, or a combination of the 2. What active things do you like to do? Walking, swimming, running, kayaking, biking, weight lifting, yoga, and so many more things can help on the calories burned part. It's all a matter of what you like to do to be active.

Lol no problem! I started answering for "excuses" and then realized that it may have been a typo, so I figured I would just answer for both to cover my bases. But yeah, any exercise (done safely) is a good exercise to help with weight loss. The best exercise is always going to be the one you enjoy because that's what will keep you at it. If you love Zumba, you're more likely to do that a few times a week than if you hate running and try to get yourself to do that.

I don’t lose weight with only exercise. I am 40! I have to fast and cut carbs and sugar. Little portions when I eat, and really control my appetite. Distract myself with any activities. Otherwise I simply do not lose any 🤷🏻‍♀️ Exercise only keep me fit. My diet is the key. I hope it works for you too.

I’m in the same boat. After delaying our initial date and gaining the whole Quarantine 15 I’m afraid my dress won’t fit for my elopement in 40 days. So I started on Thursday with a low-carb and Keto diet. Hoping to try it on next week and see how much more I have to go. It was tight when I did my final alteration last time so fingers crossed I make it!

Also I’ll add I’m doing about an hour of yoga every day to get some lean strength. Bonus it’s helped curb some of the quarantine stress!

I've been working on losing weight just to be generally healthier. It's been up and down with the last few months, but what has seemed to help is...
    1. Tracking what I eat. I'm not super precise about it, but logging my food really helps me get in check with how much I'm eating vs what I should eat. Tells me if I'm way off.
    2. FH got me a FitBit for Christmas and I found the tracking on that helpful. Again, just keeps me honest with myself.3. For exercise, I'm not a gym person so I like walking or workouts I can do at home. I use free workouts on YouTube. I like the Blogilates ones.
