Weighing down escort cards?

My DOC suggested today that I need something to weigh down my escort cards, otherwise they blow away too easily. Which makes sense, I just didn't even think about it. I was thinking about maybe just gluing some pennies on the inside (seems like the cheapest option - only 104 guests). But I wanted to see if there were any other suggestions people might have. Would gluing a penny on the inside be dumb?

We're putting ours in wine corks. It has been quite a time consuming process to cut them all.

You can use fishing weights on the back side of the cards. You just squish the two sides together.
Or moss cobbles- cut slits in them

Or use flat glass gems like pumpkins
