Wegman's flower photos -- especially NoVa

What is your flower budget and what are you trying to accomplish? I got two quotes from great florists for a winter DC wedding for around $2500. They deliver, do setup/tear down and all of the candles and vases too.

Hi Samantha -- we have a pretty healthy floral budget, we're looking to do about 12-15 centerpieces, mix of high and low, 5 bouquets for bridesmaids, my bouquet, 5 bouts, and a chuppah. Also some floral arrangements for the escort card table and cocktail hour. What kind of floral arrangements did you have?

I know what I'm looking for is expensive, but one florist quoted me $11,000(!!) which is way over budget. Just looking to find something more reasonable.

Join the Rochester Wedding Swap FB group. I'm from Rochester, NY where we have tons of Wegmans and people use them for their wedding flowers all the time. I'm in that group and people post their wedding flowers from Wegmans all the time.

Wegmans did ours. This is the best one I can find right now of my bouquet. We did super simple and there wasn't any smell from the baby's breath (there was a bunch of other greens in it too so maybe that's why). They also did pur centerpieces, boutineers, BM's flowers and our flower girl hair crowns.

I'm from near Rochester NY too! My venue coordinator suggested Wegman's for flowers, and she did Top's for her cupcakes ($10 per dozen)!

We used Pittsford Wegmans in NY for our flowers. For the bride bouquet, four bridesmaids, 7 boutonnieres, two mother's corsages, an arch decoration and 6 centerpieces, with delivery was $950. Much more reasonable than the other quotes we received!

These are from a Wegman's in upstate NY. They were really lovely. We were guests, so I don't know the cost, but I know the bride thought they were "very reasonable" compared with other options. (Sorry the photos are a little blurry -- I tried to blow them up so you could see the detail....)

We got ours at Wegmans and they did a beautiful job. We didn't get centerpieces, just bouquets and bouts.

@lauren we are doing a chuppah with draping and flowers, pillar candles down the aisle (reused around reception) my bouquet, 1BM bouquet, 5 bouts, 2 courage's, and arrangements for 10 farm tables. These include lanterns with flowers in them, candelabra, different height pillar candles and flowers. She is also doing small arrangements for our cocktail tables. And it was $2500ish. It's Flowers by Lisa. Love blooms does great work and had a similar quote. I was pretty flexible on types of flowers do that helped with budget.

Not wedding related or flower related whatsoever, but both of my brothers worked at that exact Wegmans while they were in high school! I have gotten bouquets of flowers for mother’s day there and they were always really pretty.

There is also a wegmans in Fairfax and Leesburg if either one is closer to you, those might be another option.

@Jessica we're in DC so all the Wegman's are a bit of a hike, they're apparently building a Wegman's in Tysons but I don't think it will be ready by the wedding.

This is a Wegman's centerpiece from my cousins wedding. It's from one of their Pa stores. They do amazing work, but can be pricey. I would definitely reccomend getting your flowers done by them.

We didn't go to Wegman's, but we used Flower Gallery in Manassas. Amazing! And prices were pretty reasonable!
